1. Sustainability United- Developing sustainability initiatives, especially for marginalized groups impacted disproportionately by climate change.

2. I am passionate because sustainability is one of if not the most important issues facing humanity right now. Beyond the issue of environmental sustainability, income inequality and how marginalized people can suffer disproportionately is incredibly important. Right now, low income population, including many people of color, suffer from the effects of pollution and climate change. These groups are already experiencing the negative impact of our society’s actions on the environment in ways that many people in wealthier areas are not aware of. 

3. We are unique because we want to push for environmental change by also putting transparency on the immense impacts that pollution and climate change is causing for people already. We will not only provide awareness and education, but we will also work with these groups of people to create positive change. We will fuse advocacy with tangible actionable impact. 

4. Sustainability United has the ability to unite people from all different walks of life- from ethnicity to socio-economic status behind an essential cause. We will make positive change right now, and create a more sustainable and equitable future for the entire human race. If you want your future children to not only survive but thrive, AMDP should support Sustainability United- we won’t rest until we complete our mission.
